“For my wife. She is very critical when it comes to flowers and only wants what we’ve grown ourselves.”

How do you most enjoy seeing your roses used?
“Seeing someone leave the florist with a lovely bouquet of Avalanche+® roses gives me great pleasure. A lot of love for cultivation and knowledge about roses preceded that moment, but what ultimately counts is that people enjoy them.”

What is your best Avalanche+® moment?
“The first field of Avalanche+® and the first fine harvest - that was truly magical. We knew straightaway we had something very special in our greenhouse. And that feeling has never changed.”
