What do you think when you step into the greenhouse in the morning?
“We’ve invested a lot in environmentally-friendly cultivation. It might be my imagination, but since we started working as ‘green’ as possible, the air in the greenhouse seems to smell different. Fresher. More natural. It makes me feel good.”

Who did you last cut Avalanche+® roses for yourself?
“For my wife. There is a fresh vase of roses in our home every three weeks.” 

How do you most enjoy seeing your roses used?
“I’m always proud when I come across them in a magazine or a big event, but I am just as pleased to see them at a wedding or in a lovely bouquet. If people are happy with them, I’m happy too.”

What is your best Avalanche+® moment?  
“Just before they’re ready for harvesting. They’re such tall, strong, proud roses. Even after all those years of growing Avalanche+® they still impress me.”
